A pixel-art town builder on an inked map. Every run, a new island to chart.
Place workshops, paint roads and send scouts into the blank parchment - the town builds its own houses. Then win the Crown's charter before the Crown loses patience.
A TOWN THAT BUILDS ITSELF
You never build houses. Place fishing huts on the coast, woodcutters at the forest, quarries in the hills, mines in the mountains and farms with windmills, and paint roads with your finger to make them work faster. Food, wood, stone and gold fly as bubbles into town, workers fly back out, and the town builds its houses by itself when it is fed.
INK IN THE MAP
Every run is a new island. Send scouts into the blank parchment and the land is inked in as they walk: ruins, a shipwreck, an old lighthouse, treasure, a hermit's hut. Far out live the hill folk, who hire out work crews, and scholars at an oasis, who rent out their knowledge - once a road joins them to your town.
TROUBLE AND HARD CHOICES
Fires, storms, wolves, rats, fever and lost scouts. Decisions with a price either way - and trouble you ignore can come back worse. Good news too: a shoal of fish, a bumper harvest, golden bubbles to tap.
QUESTS, TRADERS AND THE CROWN
The Reeve, Brother Aldo, Guildmistress Wenna and the Hermit each have a short story, and the last request of each brings a lasting reward. Traders anchor offshore with offers, and the royal herald comes for the Crown's tribute.
FROM HAMLET TO CITY
Build a chapel, a market hall and a keep to rise from hamlet to village, town and city. Every rank lets you pick a technology of your choice - twenty of them in five branches.
FIVE ROYAL CHARTERS
Every run follows one charter, chosen at the start: build the castle and become the capital; light four beacons at the island's far ends and keep them burning; have the King's wishes ready on the day of his visit; claim more of the island's riches than the rival Lord Varne; or bring your town through the Great Storm. Miss three tributes and the charter is revoked.
