Vegas Hero

Vegas Hero is a vocabulary learning app built on a spaced repetition system that tracks each card's knowledge level from 0 (unknown) to 5 (mastered), dynamically adjusting how often each card appears based on your real performance over time. When you first encounter a card in a new deck, it starts at level 0. As you swipe right consistently, the card climbs toward level 5. Swipe left even once and the card drops back down, signaling the algorithm that it needs more reinforcement before being trusted. This 0–5 scale gives Vegas Hero's spaced repetition a granular picture of your vocabulary knowledge, finer than a simple "known/unknown" binary, and more actionable than a subjective self-rating system. The levels reflect real behavioral data from your study sessions. Cards at level 5 appear infrequently, they've been proven known through repeated correct responses and need only occasional maintenance reviews to stay fresh. Cards at level 0 appear every session until a consistent right-swipe pattern earns them a level-up. The knowledge level system is Vegas Hero's core intelligence, turning what might otherwise be random flashcard shuffling into a personalized learning curriculum that evolves continuously as your vocabulary grows.
