No real-money wagers or prizes. Baloot · Table rules Four players, two teams, 32 cards from 7 to A. Your partner sits opposite. Play starts to the dealer’s right and continues anticlockwise. Reach 152 points; a final tie continues. Opponents are computer-controlled and cannot see your cards. Deal five cards each and reveal an upcard. First purchase: Sun or Hokum in its suit. Second purchase: Sun or a different trump suit. Two full rounds of passes redeal. After purchase, complete all hands to eight cards. Sun outranks Hokum under purchase priority. When the upcard is an ace, only the dealer’s right-hand player may convert Hokum to Sun. Ashkal lets the dealer or left-hand player buy Sun after opposing Hokum, before passing in round two; their partner receives the upcard. Follow suit. If void, trump if possible and overtrump when able, including when partner is winning. Closed Hokum forbids leading trump while another suit remains. Illegal plays are prevented. Sun order: A,10,K,Q,J,9,8,7. Trump: J,9,A,10,K,Q,8,7. Normal values: 11,10,4,3,2,0,0,0; trump J=20 and 9=14. Last trick adds 10: total 130 in Sun, 162 in Hokum. Projects announce automatically and reveal after trick one. Runs of 3/4/5+ score 4/10/20 in Sun or 2/5/10 in Hokum. Four aces in Sun score 40. Highest project wins for its team; a hundred run beats a hundred square, then rank and dealer-right priority break ties. Trump K+Q gives Baloot +2. Buyer must outscore defenders; an ordinary tie favours buyer. Sun converts raw points by five; Hokum rounds by ten with five down. Failed purchase gives defenders 26/16 plus projects. Kaboot scores 44/25; qualifying reverse Sun Kaboot scores 88. Hokum raises: double, triple, four, Gahwa. Double/four may be closed. Gahwa decides the match, but Kaboot is not multiplied. Sun doubles only when defenders have at most 100 and buyers over 100. Projects double only once; Baloot never multiplies. A doubled tie defeats the last raiser.
