Betmatch

This game puts a row of lily pads in front of you, and only one of them is safe. It lights up for a moment, then the glow starts to fade. Swipe toward it before the light is gone, and you're across. Guess wrong, swipe too late, or just freeze for a second, and that path sinks under you. Every round starts the same way: a cluster of two to four pads ahead, one lit path to find. The window to react gets shorter as you go, and more pads light up to choose from, so the hop that was easy a minute ago stops being easy. Land five safe hops in a row and the level is cleared. There's no map to study and no pattern to memorize — just the next glow, and whether you can trust your first read of it. Each level resets the streak, so a single late swipe near the end costs the same as one at the start. The challenge isn't memorizing a sequence, it's staying sharp hop after hop, pad after pad, all the way to five in a row. Thirteen levels take the reaction window further each time, from a forgiving glow you can watch fade to a flash you have to catch on instinct. The game is quick to understand and hard to get calm with — exactly the kind of game you can pick up for one hop and still be playing ten minutes later.
