Gatehold: Turret Merge Defense

Build a turret line behind your gate and hold it against marching waves. Spend battle coins to buy a tier-1 turret on a random empty cell of the 5 by 3 grid. Drag two turrets of the same tier together to merge them into a stronger turret, up to tier 10. Make room as your board fills. Drag a turret to an empty cell to move it, or onto a different tier to swap positions. Turrets fire automatically at enemies in range nearest the gate. Defeated enemies drop coins for more turrets, while enemies that reach the gate attack it. If the gate falls, retry the stage for free. Clear 40 stages across Meadow, Canyon, Snowfield and Volcano. Each stage has five waves, with a boss every fifth stage. Face runners, armoured enemies, flyers and other threats. Higher turret tiers add missiles, a piercing laser and a plasma mech. Earn stars based on the gate health left when you finish. Spend gems from stage clears on permanent upgrades to gate health, starting coins, turret damage and the chance of a merge jumping two tiers. Optional rewarded ads offer an Air Strike once per stage when gate health is at or below half, a Supply crate turret from crates appearing every 90 seconds, or Double gems on first clears. Each offer is labelled and starts only when you choose it. The game contains ads and offers in-app purchases. Remove Ads is a one-time purchase that removes interstitial break ads; optional rewarded offers remain. Gem Pouch is a consumable pack that adds 300 gems for permanent upgrades. Interstitials appear only when leaving stage results, never during a battle.
