FontCraft: Handwriting to Font

FontCraft is a font maker for turning your lettering into custom TrueType fonts. Draw characters on your screen, or start with a handwriting template sheet. Refine your letters, adjust their spacing and export a TTF file for your creative projects. DRAW YOUR OWN LETTERS Build a character set one letter at a time. Work with uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols. Use pen, brush and Qalam tools, with guides to help you keep letter heights and baselines consistent. Undo and redo as you refine each shape. START WITH HANDWRITING ON PAPER Open or print a FontCraft template, fill in the boxes with dark ink, then scan the sheet or choose a photo from your gallery. Convert the template into editable letter shapes and make adjustments in the drawing studio. A clear, evenly lit image works best. SEE HOW YOUR LETTERS FIT TOGETHER Preview your lettering as text while you work. Adjust character widths, word spacing and kerning pairs to change how the letters sit beside one another. EXPORT A TRUETYPE FONT Compile your project into a .ttf font file and share it through Android's share menu. Use your font in design and document apps that support importing custom TTF files. Font import availability depends on the receiving app and its plan; FontCraft does not replace your phone's system font or keyboard. KEEP YOUR PROJECTS TOGETHER Save drafts, return to unfinished letters and find exported fonts in My Fonts. Your drawings and handwriting sheets are processed on your device. FontCraft contains ads; advertising services may use an internet connection and collect data as described in the privacy policy. From a handwritten alphabet to lettering for invitations, personal artwork or design experiments, FontCraft gives you a place to draw, refine and export your own type.
