Unilorin Connect

Unilorin Connect is the campus app for the University of Ilorin community. CAMPUS EVENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS, EVEN WITH NO SIGNAL Lecture-hall events, departmental programmes and campus announcements arrive on your phone over Bluetooth from equipment around the campus, so a crowded hall with weak or no mobile signal does not leave you guessing. When a time or a venue changes, the update reaches you where you are standing. THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU The app tells you when someone nearby shares your interests, based on what you each chose to share. Connect and message inside the app; your phone number stays yours. WHAT YOU NEED The app installed and Bluetooth on. Event content is delivered by the university's equipment on campus, so away from those locations some areas of the app may be empty. PRIVACY The sensitive parts do not need to leave your phone, and messages between people nearby travel directly, device to device. Block, report and delete are first-class: Profile -> Delete Account removes your account and your data. Unilorin Connect does not verify anyone's real-world identity. There is no document check and no KYC. A credential in this app says an account controls a handset. It does not say who is holding it. Unilorin Connect is provided by Dejify Inc for the University of Ilorin.
