Banjo: Tuner, Chords, Learn

Tune the banjo, play it and learn it, all in one app. The tuner marks the peg to turn, eight courses take you from holding the banjo to rolls, clawhammer and the tenor, ten drills train your ear, hands and timing, 168 chords come with every finger shown, and a songbook of 75 songs puts them to work. Then it hands you the instrument. In Simulation the banjo is on your screen: pick a single string, strum across all five, or strum along to a song's chords. • Tuner: the headstock on screen with the peg to turn marked, fifth-string drone included, and a live needle that never flashes "in tune" early. Nine tunings: open G, double C, sawmill, open D, double D and drop C on the 5-string, plus tenor (CGDA and Irish GDAE) and plectrum • Learn: eight courses (71 lessons). No ads, no account, no subscription. Banjo Pro is one optional in-app purchase, paid once: the strobe meter, every other chord type, the other courses, every drill level, every scale, chord and scale, the circle of fifths, overtones, String Health and practice insights. Never a subscription, and the tuner is never gated. It all works offline, and Banjo collects no data: see the Data safety section below.

What's new: • Tuner: each string keeps a tick once it is in tune, a selected string moves on to the next untuned one by itself, and the app tells you when all are in tune. • Chords: corrected fingerings on several banjo grips. • Learn: lessons show the chord diagrams they teach, also in chromatic mode. • Settings: privacy policy, website and build number in About. • Fixes: crashes in Chords → By shape and when tapping a tuning peg, and freezes while the app listens.
