Watch your phone’s videos, photos and music on your TV. No ads.
Castcove brings the videos, photos and music on your phone to your TV, over your home Wi-Fi. Turn the server on with one tap and your TV finds the phone by itself: pick a video, a photo or a song and enjoy it on the big screen, with no cables and nothing to copy.
Works with what you already have:
- Fire TV, Android TV and Google TV: open VLC (free) and go to Local network.
- Samsung, LG, Sony, Philips and many other smart TVs: look for Castcove among the sources or in the media player, no app to install.
- Chromecast: pick a video, a photo or a song right in the app and send it to the TV.
- And any DLNA/UPnP app or device: Kodi, game consoles, Windows computers and many more.
A real DLNA server, made simple:
- One button to turn it on and off.
- Videos, photos and music, each with its own switch.
- Share all your folders or only the ones you choose.
- Music sorted by album, with the songs in the right order.
- Even folders hidden from the gallery (.nomedia), with their subfolders: on the TV you find your files organized just like your folders.
- It turns off by itself when you are not using it, to save battery.
- A notification always tells you when it is on, and lets you turn it off.
Easy Chromecast:
- Seek bar, 10-second jumps, pause.
- Photos one after another, music that moves on to the next song by itself.
- TV volume with your phone's volume keys.
- The video keeps playing even with the phone locked.
Respectful, for real:
- No ads, no account, no tracking.
- Your files stay on your phone: the TV reads them only while the server is on, and they are never uploaded to the Internet.
- If, when Android asks for permission, you allow access to only some photos and videos, Castcove shares only the ones you selected.
- Light or dark theme, in 20 languages, for phones and tablets.
Note: anyone connected to the same Wi-Fi network can see the shared files while the server is on. Use it on your home network, not on public ones.
