HomeCapsule: Home Maintenance

HomeCapsule keeps your home's paperwork in one place: what was bought or renovated, when, for how much, who did the work, and until when the warranty lasts. It works as a home maintenance log and a home inventory of what you bought. • Rooms: kitchen, bathroom, living room and your own, each with its history. • Entries for purchases, renovations, repairs, services and repeating maintenance, with photos, receipts and PDFs. • Contractors: the plumber's number, what they did and how it went. Call or text them from the app. • Reminders before a warranty ends and before maintenance is due, such as the boiler service or the filter change. Add them to your calendar with one tap. • Spending: what your home has cost, by room, type, month and contractor. • Search across everything. Private by design Your records, photos and documents are stored encrypted on your phone. No account, no ads, no tracking. You can lock the app with your fingerprint or screen lock. Shared with your household If you like, share your home records with the people you live with. Your entries, photos and files are end-to-end encrypted on the phone before they are sent, so they reach the server only in a form it cannot read. The server sees only technical data: a random household ID, the sizes and times of uploads, and the checks done when a household is created. Invite someone by showing them a QR code. Free and Pro HomeCapsule is free for one home, two phones and 30 files (photos, receipts and documents) shared with your household. Files on a phone that does not share are never limited. Pro gives you up to 10 homes, 5 phones and 500 shared files, plus the home dossier: a PDF of everything about your home to hand to a buyer, tenant or insurer. It is a yearly or monthly subscription through Google Play, and bought on any phone it covers the whole household. Available in English, Polish, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch.

• Backups: Settings > Backup saves your records, photos and documents in one file, encrypted with a password only you know. Keep it off the phone, check it now and then and restore it on a new phone • The app rates backup passwords and can suggest a strong one • The home screen suggests a backup and warns when reminders cannot reach you • Mirrored photos show the right way round • Safer leaving a household from its last phone
