Everything is encrypted right on your phone. There's no sign-up, no cloud and no tracking, and Burrow doesn't even use the internet. PRICING Everything is free while Burrow is new. When Burrow Pro launches, adding new items will need Pro, but whatever you've already hidden stays yours: view, export and delete it free, always. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Hide photos: move pictures out of your gallery into an encrypted private album. • Hide videos: videos are encrypted too, and play right inside the vault. • Any file: PDFs, documents and more, kept in the same secure gallery. • Multiple hidden vaults: every pattern opens its own vault, and nobody can tell how many you have. • Pattern lock on a 5×5 grid, with escalating lockouts after wrong tries. • Recovery phrase: 8 words that get you back in if you forget your pattern. • AES-256 encryption on your phone, with keys tied to its security chip. • In-vault camera: photos and videos go straight into the vault, never your camera roll. • Screenshot blocking on Android, and a privacy cover in the app switcher on both platforms. • Auto-lock when you leave the app. HOW IT'S DIFFERENT Many vault apps put a PIN screen in front of your normal files, show ads, or ask you to make an account. Burrow encrypts the files themselves, so without your pattern they're unreadable, even to someone who copies them off the phone. There are no ads anywhere, and no servers, so no company account can be leaked or hacked. Each pattern opens its own vault, and Burrow never shows a list of vaults. Someone looking at the unlock screen can't tell how many vaults exist or which pattern opens what. AN HONEST SECURITY NOTE Burrow protects your photos with strong encryption, but no app can protect against everything. Someone who examines your phone's storage can see that Burrow is installed and holds encrypted data, though they can't see what it is. If you forget your pattern and lose your recovery phrase, nobody can open the vault, including us. Screenshots are blocked inside Burrow on Android.
