Mask My File helps you redact PDF pages, photos and text files before you share them: it finds private details, permanently hides only what you choose, then reopens and verifies the new copy before you send it. Redact PDFs, photos and text files before you share them, without losing the context people actually need. Mask My File finds private details, permanently hides only what you choose, then reopens and verifies the new copy before showing Private Ready. What you can do 1. Images and PDFs: full-width preview, fluid drag, and precise manual selections to redact PDF pages or photos. 2. Visual files: permanent solid redaction or removal only. Face and barcode detection simply mark regions for your review. 3. Text, JSON, XML, HTML, CSV, TSV, and RTF: search every match, then apply a full mask, a partial mask, a placeholder, a pseudonym, or removal. 4. Remove metadata where the format supports it, and work page by page in PDFs. 5. Stay organized with Private Session, project workspaces, and Placeholder Vault. Use it when it matters Redact PDF files and photos before you send a rental application, a medical record, a pay stub with a Social Security number, or a customer file to a coworker. Black out the personal data they do not need and keep the useful context. Private by design Everything is processed on your device. There is no account, advertising, tracking, analytics, or content upload. Face detection, barcode scanning, and text recognition all run entirely on the device and never leave it. Face detection creates regions only: it does not identify a person, build a template, share face data, or retain it. Mask My File does not use a VPN, proxy, tunnel, DNS filter, or network routing. Originals are never overwritten; temporary workspace files, Private Session data, and projects stay on the device until you delete them. Free version and full version Finding and previewing private details is free, with a limited number of verified outputs. An in-app purchase unlocks the full version: unlimited verified outputs, batch processing for up to 100 files at once, and Placeholder Vault restore. You can restore your purchase at any time.
