SunZones: Sunrise, Golden Hour

SunZones tracks sunrise, sunset, twilight, golden hour and the moon for any place on Earth — and puts it all on your home screen. Every calculation runs on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking. FEATURES (FREE) • Sunrise and sunset times with a live countdown • Up to 3 locations — swipe between saved cities • Animated sun and moon arc showing the current position in the sky • Moon phase and illumination percentage • Day length, night length, and how much the day has changed • Local time and date for every city, next to your own • Home screen widget in three sizes, resizable, with a full-width horizon arc • Sunrise and sunset reminders, scheduled entirely on your device • Add locations by search or GPS, and rename them however you like • 20 languages SUNZONES PRO (ONE-TIME PURCHASE) • Unlimited locations • Golden hour and blue hour — know exactly when the light is best for photos • Full twilight timeline: civil, nautical and astronomical twilight • Night & Moon, for dark-sky planning: moonrise and moonset, when astronomical night really starts and ends, how many of those hours are moonless, the next new moon, and Milky Way season for your location • Time travel: pick any date from 1900 to 2100 and see that day's sun, moon and light. Getting back to today is never gated • Yearly daylight chart — watch day length swing month by month, and jump straight to any month • Golden hour reminders • Pro rows on the large widget • Pay once, keep it forever. No subscription, no ads. PERFECT FOR • Photographers planning golden hour and blue hour shoots • Astrophotographers and stargazers hunting moonless nights and Milky Way season • Travellers comparing daylight across destinations and time zones • Anyone with family, friends or colleagues in another part of the world • Sailors, hikers, runners, gardeners • Anyone curious about the sky PRIVACY FIRST • No ads, no tracking, no account, no advertising IDs • No analytics SDK — SunZones collects no data about how you use the app • Your saved places stay on your device. Their names and coordinates are sent nowhere, ever • Crash reports are the one thing SunZones sends, so a launch bug gets found and fixed. Places and coordinates are stripped out first, and you can switch it off in Settings → Diagnostics • Reminders and the widget run entirely on your device — no push service, no backend • Payments are handled by Google Play; SunZones never sees your payment details Sun times are computed with commons-suncalc against each location's own time zone, so a city on the other side of the world reads the way its residents read it — not the way your phone does.

Reliability fixes. • The home-screen widget shows a city as soon as you add it. • Settings and the Pro sheet stay open when you rotate the phone. • A reminder you switch on while Android asks for notification permission is no longer lost. • If a chosen day cannot be calculated, Back to today takes you home. • The update prompt waits until you close What's new.
