Ful Cart

Ful Cart puts you behind a wooden ful medames cart on a Shubra street corner at six in the morning. The copper qidra of fava beans is steaming, the baladi bread is stacked in its tin, and the first workers are already queuing. You have until ten o'clock. Every customer hands you an order: ful or taameya, tahina, oil, cumin, lemon — exactly as they like it. Open a loaf, ladle the beans, add the toppings, wrap it in newspaper and hand it over. Meanwhile the beans must stay hot without scorching and the bread must stay warm. The regulars are the reason to come back: Am Sayed the taxi driver who always wants extra oil, Nour who pays in one-pound coins, the bawab who takes four sandwiches for the whole building. They tell you their order once. After that it is just "the usual" — and you are expected to remember. Features: • A four-hour morning rush squeezed into a few minutes, with real queue pressure • Qidra heat and bread warmth to manage while you build every order by hand • Nine named regulars with habits, arrival times and loyalty you earn • A daftar notebook of what each regular takes • Four corners to unlock: Shubra, Sayeda Zeinab, near Al-Azhar and the Corniche • Ramadan suhoor nights with families ordering for the whole table • Live Cairo temperature from Open-Meteo: cold mornings cool the bread faster • Paint your cart's sign with its name and your portrait from the camera or gallery • A ledger of every shift, a streak, and a daily morning-bell reminder you can set One cart, one dish, one morning rush.
