NextNote

Turn your music practice into decisions for your next study session. In NextNote, you follow the score with highlighted notes, listen to the reference, practice with a metronome, and record your playing. When you submit the audio for analysis, you get pitch and rhythm estimates note by note, plus suggestions for the measures that deserve more attention. Audio analysis works for monophonic performances. Explore the NextNote catalog by level and collection, or upload scores in MusicXML (.musicxml, .xml, .mxl), MuseScore (.mscz), ABC, and Guitar Pro (.gp3, .gp4, .gp5, .gpx). Conversion availability depends on the file format. Organize your scores, select passages, and adjust the tempo to study at your own pace. Follow your Progress piece by piece and record videos with the score. Videos stay on your device until you decide to save or share them. To analyze the audio of a video, only the audio is sent to the service. Free: guided practice, reference, tuner, metronome, and the full catalog, up to 3 analyses per day (every 24 hours) and up to 5 scores of your own. Progress for the 1-day and 7-day periods; exported videos include the NextNote watermark. Premium: unlimited analyses for normal use (technical cap of 50 per 24 hours), unlimited scores, full Progress, and videos without a watermark. Teacher: all Premium features, in plans of 10, 25, or 50 students by invite; you can change tiers later. The teacher manages the names and emails of linked students; students' results and scores stay private. On all plans, each recording submitted for analysis can be up to 4 minutes long. Monthly or annual subscriptions, with price and conditions shown by the store before purchase. Annual Premium may offer 7 free days depending on eligibility; Teacher has no free trial. Automatic renewal until canceled in Google Play. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription.
