Time Calculator is a focused tool designed to calculate hours, minutes, and seconds accurately, as well as time differences between shifts. Perform calculations anytime offline without an internet connection. ◆ Add & Subtract Time (Tape Calculation) - Dedicated Time Fields: Distinct fields for hours (up to 4 digits), minutes (0 to 59), and seconds (0 to 59). Use the Next field key or tap to switch fields; minutes and seconds advance automatically after 2 digits. - Tape Calculation Flow: Stack up to 50 lines using add (+) and subtract (−) keys. Tap any line to edit or delete it. - Beyond 24 Hours: Totals do not convert to days. Durations extend up to 9999:59:59 for cumulative project or video time. - Negative Durations: Subtracting a larger time displays a precise negative duration with a minus sign (−). - Decimal Conversions: Displays decimal hours (rounded to 2 places) and decimal minutes (rounded to 1 place) beneath the total. - Wage Calculation: Enter an hourly rate in Settings to calculate proportional pay automatically. ◆ Time Between Shifts & Work Hours - Start & End Times: Enter start and end times in 24-hour format (HH:MM) to calculate elapsed time immediately. - Overnight Shifts: If the end time is earlier than the start time, the app automatically tags it as Next day. - Break Deduction: Enter break durations (HH:MM) to subtract unpaid breaks. Alerts if break exceeds worked time. - Hourly pay estimate: When an hourly rate is set, estimated pay displays beneath calculated hours. ◆ Fast Input & History Management - Keypad Controls: Includes Delete and New calculation (C) buttons, plus Prev, Next, and Now (fills current time) buttons on the time difference tab. - Copy Results: Copy totals or time difference results to clipboard with one tap. - Local History: Saves your last 100 calculations on device. Tap any entry to restore its tape, swipe to delete, or clear all history. - Session Restoration: Preserves active calculations and tape lines locally so you can resume anytime. Calculations older than 24 hours are cleared. ◆ Display & Preferences - Appearance: Supports Device, Light, and Dark themes. - Sound & Haptics: Toggle audio feedback and tactile vibration independently. - Wage Settings: Set an hourly rate or toggle pay display in results. (No default rate prefilled) - Language: Supports English and Korean based on device settings. - Accessibility: Supports TalkBack screen reader, and layouts stay intact without clipping even under large text settings. ◆ Explicit Limitations - Does not support multiplication, division, or percentage calculations. - Does not support calendar date calculations or countdowns. - Does not function as an automated timecard punch clock, timer, or stopwatch. - No user account, login, or cloud synchronization servers. - Entered times and history are never sent to external servers. ◆ Advertising & In-App Purchase - Free to use with a single banner ad at the bottom of calculation and history screens. - No interstitial ads during input or calculation; interstitials appear only on New calculation (C) after viewing results, limited to 1 in 10 calculations. - A one-time Remove ads in-app purchase removes all banner and interstitial ads permanently.
