Watch your security cameras and NVR on the TV. No account, no cloud. Free.
Kotivahti shows the security cameras and NVRs on your home network on your TV. It is free, with no account, no cloud and no subscription. The video goes over your home network straight from the camera to the TV.
Works with Reolink cameras and NVRs
Open Kotivahti and it searches your home network. It finds Reolink cameras and NVRs by itself. Sign in with the same user name and password you use in the Reolink app, and the cameras appear in a grid with the names from the device. No RTSP addresses to type.
ONVIF cameras too
Add ONVIF cameras of other brands, for example TP-Link Tapo. Kotivahti finds them on your home network, or you add them by IP address.
Made for the TV and the remote
• Live grid of up to 16 cameras per page. More cameras go on more pages.
• Full screen with sound. Left and Right switch to the next camera.
• Full screen in up to 4K on TVs that decode HEVC (H.265).
• Rename, hide and reorder the cameras.
• Start straight in the grid, in the last camera you watched or on the home screen.
• Demo mode: try the app with four recorded cameras before you set up your own.
• In English, Finnish, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, French, Dutch and Polish.
Your video stays at home
• No account and no cloud. The video never goes through HD SofT or any other server.
• Device passwords are stored encrypted, only on the TV.
• The cameras work without internet. Kotivahti needs the internet only for the ads, the demo videos and sending a diagnostics log.
Free, with our own ads
Kotivahti is free and has no camera limit. It shows ads for HD SofT's own apps and games. There are no other ad networks, and an ad never covers the camera view.
Good to know
• Kotivahti shows live video. It does not record and does not play back recordings.
• Kotivahti works on your home network, not away from home.
• Reolink battery cameras are shown through a Home Hub or an NVR.
• For the best picture and 4K, turn on RTSP in the Reolink app: Settings → Network → Advanced → Server Settings. Without RTSP, Kotivahti uses the HTTP-FLV stream of the device.
• Some TVs can play only a few videos at once. Then the grid shows the cameras live in turns and keeps the latest picture of the others.
Kotivahti is made by HD SofT Oy, Finland. It is not an official Reolink or TP-Link app. Reolink, TP-Link and Tapo are trademarks of their owners.

New setting: the full screen can change the camera automatically every 5–60 seconds. When the TV cannot decode a camera's video, the app tries the camera's other stream or tells you what to change. Adding a camera works with more cameras and also with a slow camera, and a VPN on the TV no longer confuses the search.
