DiscoveryLauncher replaces your home screen with something calm: a big clock, a few apps as a list and nothing else. No icon grids, no widgets, no ads. It looks like the console of a starship – dark, clear, with glowing edges. HOME SCREEN • Big clock with date, up to ten apps as a list below • Icon bar at the edge for up to eight apps, tinted in the launcher's style • Groups in the bar, such as Home and Work: a button at the top switches groups, with your choice of icon, colour and transition • Battery level as a bar and today's screen time (stays on the device) • Apps left, centered or right, at the top, middle or bottom – adjustable text size ALL APPS AND SEARCH • Swipe up opens all apps, with the keyboard ready • Search ignores accents and case and also matches inside names • If only one app is left, it starts right away (can be turned off) • No match? The search key searches the web, including !bangs • Rename, hide or uninstall apps; work profile apps are marked GESTURES • Swipe down: notifications • Swipe left and right: apps of your choice (camera and phone by default) • Tap clock and date: alarm and calendar, or apps of your choice • Long press: settings BACKGROUNDS Grid, color, your own picture or drawn scenes: stars, nebula, horizon – and animated: Matrix rain, warp, radar. Animations only run while the home screen is visible. PRIVACY DiscoveryLauncher has no internet permission. Nothing leaves your phone – no accounts, no ads, no tracking. Screen time needs Android's usage access – only if you allow it, and the numbers stay on the device.

Groups in the icon bar: several sets of apps, such as Home and Work. A button at the top of the bar switches to the next group; pick its icon (28 to choose from), colour and one of seven transitions. Faster return: if Android closed the home screen in the background, your apps and icons now appear at once.
