CurruBike – Bike Computer

CurruBike is a bike computer for your phone. Speed, distance, riding time, elevation gain and gradient while you ride, traced on a cycling map — and saved afterwards, so you can find every ride again. Everything stays on your device. No account, no sign-up, no cloud, no ads. Your rides never leave the phone — only map tiles are loaded from the OpenStreetMap servers. The one exception, and only if you switch it on yourself: sending each ride to your own TripAtlas server. WHILE YOU RIDE • Six views, one swipe apart: speed, speed barometer, tiles, live map, climb, night • Four ride designs for the main screen — Classic, Racer, Rain with big buttons for wet fingers, Tour • Elevation profile of the current ride right below the speed, with altitude, elevation gain and gradient • Start, pause and stop sit fixed at the bottom — reachable on every view • Cycling map based on OpenStreetMap (CyclOSM) with bike lanes and routes; if it fails, the map switches to the standard map by itself • Auto-pause when you stop, the screen dims, recording continues in the background • The app keeps the device awake while recording and tells you right away when GPS goes quiet • Warns you when Android's battery saver is on — it would otherwise turn off GPS when the screen goes dark ACCURATE, NOT FLATTERING • Altitude from barometer and GPS together: elevation gain only counts when both agree — no headwind, no warming, no phantom climbs • GPS noise filter against phantom kilometres while standing still • Distance and riding time come from the same GPS points — the average stays right even if the phone dozed off in between • If the phone shuts down, the app offers to save the ride on the next start AFTERWARDS • Every ride in detail: map, elevation profile, speed distribution, timeline to replay the ride • Picture of your ride in five styles to share — also with your own photo • Statistics over the last days and a monthly calendar • GPX export — single rides or all rides in one file — and GPX import • Backup folder: after every ride a backup lands automatically in a folder of your choice, even with thousands of rides • If you like, every ride goes automatically to your own TripAtlas server • Garage for several bikes English, German, Spanish, French.
