Vexvito

A golf-style card solitaire. Exposed cards across the rows are taken onto a single waste pile whenever a card sits one rank above or below the one showing, and a long chain can clear a whole column at once. Play is a search for the next link: the card on the pile sets what can be taken, and every take changes it again, so reading several steps ahead is what clears a deal. Thirty deals raise the challenge in steps. Early deals use a single suit and shallow rows; across the levels more suits enter, the rows deepen, the wrap between the highest and lowest rank is switched off, and the reserve of spare draws shrinks. A deal is complete when the tableau is empty.
