Speed Test: Monitor Your Speed

Check your internet speed with Speed Monitor: Test Your Speed. When websites load slowly or videos keep buffering, run an internet speed test to see how your current connection is performing. Speed Monitor gives you a way to check your connection before everyday online activities. Whether you are getting ready for a video call, watching a video, or browsing the web, a speed test can help you understand your connection at that moment. CAN CHECK YOUR INTERNET SPEED Run a test to measure your current internet speed. Instead of guessing whether your connection is slow, check the measured result as a starting point for understanding its performance. CAN CHECK BEFORE ONLINE ACTIVITIES Preparing for an online meeting or planning to watch a video? Test your connection beforehand. A speed reading can provide useful context, although the performance of individual apps and websites also depends on their own services and other network conditions. CAN TEST AT DIFFERENT TIMES Your internet connection may perform differently in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Run separate tests at different times and compare the readings yourself to understand when your connection appears faster or slower. CAN CHECK AFTER CONNECTION CHANGES If you restart your router or adjust your connection setup, run another test to see whether the measured speed has changed. Keep testing conditions similar when comparing readings so that the differences are easier to interpret. A STARTING POINT FOR SLOW CONNECTIONS Slow internet can have several causes. An internet speed test provides a measurement to help you begin checking the issue. It does not identify every possible cause, but it can give you useful information before you investigate further or contact your internet provider. GET MORE USEFUL READINGS For a clearer comparison, avoid running large downloads or other heavy internet activity during a test. Other connected devices, signal quality, and network traffic can affect the speed available to your phone. UNDERSTAND WHAT A TEST SHOWS Results reflect your connection during the test and may change between tests. Speed Monitor measures internet speed; it does not boost your connection, repair your router, or change your internet plan. Speed tests use internet data. Download Speed Monitor: Test Your Speed and check how your internet connection is performing today.
