Cifera Crest is built around that idea: the surname initial sits a little larger in the middle, the frame leaves the letters room to breathe, and every rule is drawn at a weight that still reads at the size of a lock screen clock. — The Studio Type up to three initials and the crest redraws as you go. Choose one of six letterforms, from a calm bracketed Roman to a high-contrast Didone with a slanted stress, then decide how the letters meet: single, pair, the classic trio, stacked like a signet cipher, or interlaced, with the second letter traced in the accent colour so it appears to weave through the others. — Frames and Ornaments Seven frames, most drawn with a heavy outer rule and a hairline inside it: double ring, laurel branches tied with a small knot, heraldic shield, lozenge, cartouche with studs, a clipped Deco octagon, or nothing at all. Add pearl dots, a sunburst, a ring of four-point stars or corner brackets around the outside. — Colourways Ten considered palettes, each a ground, an ink and an accent that were chosen together: Garnet Wax, Ink and Vellum, Midnight Gilt, Cobalt Porcelain, Emerald Club and more.
