Chisel: Focus Timer & Tasks

Big tasks stall because "work on the thesis" isn't something you can start. Chisel makes you break it down first, then gives you a Pomodoro timer for the next step. BREAK IT DOWN • Turn a task into subtasks and estimate each one in pomodoros • Reorder, skip or finish steps as the work moves • Categories and deadlines, with days left on every task ONE THING AT A TIME • Each focus session starts on your next subtask • Short breaks between rounds, and a long break every few • Pause, resume, skip or stop, with notes that stay with the task KEEPS REAL TIME • Leave the app or close it: the timer keeps going • An alert tells you when a session or a break ends, with sound or silent • A live countdown in your notifications takes you back in one tap DECIDE AFTER EVERY ROUND • Continue, mark it done and move on, or add a pomodoro when a step needs more time • Finish the last step and the task is done SEE YOUR PROGRESS • Today's pomodoros, focus time and streak • A weekly chart of what you got done MADE FOR EVERYONE • English, French, Arabic, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian • Three looks: Night, Calm and Paper; large text and screen readers supported PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no ads, no analytics • Your tasks stay on your phone FREE AND PRO Chisel is free with up to three active tasks. Chisel Pro removes the limit with one payment. No subscription.
