Piano One: Learn Piano

Learn piano by understanding what you play. Piano One offers piano lessons for adult beginners who sit at a piano or keyboard and don't know where to start. No experience or music theory needed. Learn it, practise it, play it Every lesson follows the same simple path. You learn one new idea, such as a note, a rhythm, a fingering or a hand movement. You practise it on your piano. Then you find it again in a real song. For example, in chapter 2 you discover F and G, place your hand in five-finger position, and then use both to play Ode to Joy. Because you know why each note is there, piano songs stop being a sequence of cues to follow. They start to make sense. Play real songs from the first chapters Each chapter ends with a beginner version of a well-known classical piece, from Ode to Joy all the way to Für Elise. Every song brings together what you've just learned. Learn to read sheet music, step by step Find the notes on the keyboard, then read them on the staff. Piano One teaches you to read sheet music little by little, alongside rhythm, fingering and coordination between both hands. Each skill builds on the previous one. Coordination exercises help you practise between lessons, with or without a piano nearby. Piano lessons at your own pace When something is new, Piano One waits for you. Find the note, play it, and the lesson continues when you're ready. No timer and no pressure, made for adult beginners who want to learn piano calmly. Works with the piano you already have No cable, MIDI or special hardware. Put your phone near your acoustic piano or digital keyboard: Piano One listens through the microphone and tells you how you played each note. What you'll learn • Find every note on the piano keyboard • Read sheet music and notes on the staff • Keep a steady rhythm • Use the right fingers in the right place • Coordinate both hands • Play beginner versions of famous classical songs The goal: understand enough to keep learning piano on your own.
