Place search and the gesture zone above or below favourites. Preview changes on Home, arrange built-in widget tiles, then save when the layout feels right. Export settings and local tasks to a JSON backup file you choose; restore your setup without transferring Android permissions or purchase evidence. A COMPLETE FREE LAUNCHER Favourites, app groups, search, gestures and layout controls stay free. So do digital and analog clocks, date, battery, weather, month calendar, next alarm, basic notification totals and supported Android control tiles. Choose text, icons or both. Adjust text and icon size, spacing, bold text, contrast, vibration and touch feedback. Accessibility controls and launcher animation quality are never part of an upgrade. START WITH DEEP BLACK Use the black, gold and silver defaults, your own photo, or the free Lines background. Change its seed, coverage and detail to create something minimal or fill the screen. Procedural backgrounds are generated on your phone, without an AI service, credits or generation fees. ONE OPTIONAL STUDIO PURCHASE Studio adds custom colours, ten richer pattern families, independent artwork palettes, blending and gentle background motion. It also unlocks agenda and to-do Home tiles, Now playing controls, screen activity, Health Connect tiles, and notification or app-icon rows with count badges. There are no subscriptions or per-widget purchases. Google Play shows the local price before payment. Your saved appearance, widget choices and local tasks are kept when Studio access changes. Saved tasks remain editable without the paid Home tile. OPTIONAL INFORMATION, YOUR CHOICE Extra data access is requested only for the features you choose. Calendar events, health readings, screen activity and media details stay on your device. Notification previews stay in memory and are cleared when the phone locks. Weather sends your approximate location directly to MET Norway to request a forecast. Explicit web and voice searches open an installed provider. The launcher needs no separate account and has no advertising. Longbeard Tech does not collect launcher usage analytics. Google Play Billing reports billing diagnostics and technical app/device information to Google. Built for Android 8.0 and later. Some features require a newer Android version, a work profile, compatible media or health apps, or device support. Health tiles display recorded information from connected sources; they do not monitor you live. Built-in tiles are included; hosting arbitrary third-party Android widgets is not supported. Android controls the actual display refresh rate and system animations. Longbeard Launcher is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
