Sudoku Pencil is a classic 9×9 sudoku with a clean board and honest difficulty. Every puzzle has exactly one solution and works without an internet connection. FOUR LEVELS, GRADED BY TECHNIQUE Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert differ in the solving techniques a puzzle needs, not only in how many digits are given. Win three games on a level to unlock the next one, or try a harder level right away. DAILY PUZZLE A new Medium puzzle appears every day at midnight. Solve it on consecutive days to build your daily streak. NEW TO SUDOKU? On first launch the app asks how well you know sudoku and picks a starting level. If it is your first time, a short interactive demo on a 4×4 board walks you through the rules. You can replay it from Settings. TOOLS - Notes: pencil in candidate digits; notes never count as mistakes - Undo and erase - Highlighting of identical digits - Optional instant mistake check - Hints: the first hint in every game is free, further hints after a short rewarded ad MISTAKES AND SCORE A game stops after three mistakes. You can keep playing by watching a short ad, and the board stays exactly as it was. You earn points for every correct cell. A streak without mistakes raises the multiplier up to ×4, and finishing a row, column or box adds a bonus. STATS Games started and completed, win rate, best times and best scores, and your daily streak. Statistics are stored only on your device. OFFLINE AND PRIVATE No account and no sign-up. Games, settings and statistics stay on your device. Every puzzle works in airplane mode; only rewarded ads need a connection. ADS AND PREMIUM The app is free. It shows a banner, an occasional full-screen ad only between games, and rewarded ads that you choose to watch when you want an extra hint or a second chance. A one-time "Premium forever" purchase removes ads and gives you hints and second chances without watching ads. The purchase can be restored on a new device. NEW: JOURNEY 300 levels across 20 storybook worlds: from a forest camp past a lighthouse, a castle and a volcano up to a summit under the stars. Chapters are named after pencil grades, 9H to 9B, and the difficulty steps up every five chapters. Earn up to three marks on every level. CALENDAR AND REMINDERS Catch up on past daily puzzles in the calendar. An optional evening reminder keeps your streak alive. BADGES, SOUNDS AND ANIMATIONS More than a dozen badges to earn, soft pencil sounds, a golden flash when you complete a row, column or box, and an animated results screen with confetti.
