A FreeCell card solitaire. A few open cells hold single cards aside while the tableau is built down in alternating colour, and each suit is sent to its foundation in order from the lowest card up. Every card is in view from the start, so a deal is a plan rather than a guess: the open cells are the room to manoeuvre, and spending them well is the whole game. Thirty deals grow the test. The number of suits climbs from one to four, the tableau widens and deepens, and the open cells fall from four toward two. A deal is complete once every foundation is full.
