Sumroll: Tape Calculator

Sumroll is a tape calculator that works like an adding machine on your phone. Every number you type prints as a line on a paper tape, so you can see the whole calculation, tag each line with a memo, and fix any figure later. Totals update the moment you change a line. Never asks for phone access. No account. Open it and start adding. WHY A TAPE CALCULATOR A normal calculator shows one number. When you add up 20 receipts and get a strange total, you start over. With Sumroll the running total sits on a tape: scroll up, find the wrong line, change it, done. No retyping the whole list. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Add, subtract, multiply, divide and % in adding-machine order — each entry becomes a tape line • Tag any line with a memo: "milk", "Sam", "taxi", "rent" • Tap a line to fix the amount or the sign — every subtotal and total below it recalculates • Insert a missed line above, delete a wrong one, undo the last step • Subtotal (◇) and total (✱) lines, just like a paper tape • Negative amounts print in red, so refunds and discounts stand out • Save every tape with a name and date; search names and memos later • Start a new tape for each bill, trip or shopping run and reopen old ones any time • Share a tape as receipt text or a CSV file for spreadsheets, or copy it to the clipboard • Home screen widget: your current tape total, plus one tap for a new tape • Decimal places, thousands separator, key vibration, light and dark theme GOOD FOR Monthly bills and expenses, splitting a dinner or a trip, checking receipts, grocery runs, invoices, budgets, salary and tax sums, inventory counts — anything where you want a calculator with history and notes on every line. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Sumroll never asks for phone, contacts, camera or location access. Your tapes stay on this device. There is no sign-in and nothing to sync. Sumroll is supported by ads. Ads never appear in the middle of typing or right after you hit total. Questions or ideas? Write to us from the store listing — we read every message.
