Glimword: Lock Screen Vocab

Tired of a vocabulary app that takes over your lock screen and won't let go? Glimword shows one English word card when you glance at your phone, and you can switch it off in one tap. No forced lock screen. No ads on the lock screen, the widget or the notification. HOW IT WORKS • One word card on your lock screen as a notification, 1 to 5 times a day. You pick how many and when the first one shows up. • A home screen widget: tap to see the meaning, tap Next for a new word. • Every card shows the part of speech (noun, verb, adjective) and one short everyday example. LEARN ENGLISH WORDS IN SMALL STEPS • Set a daily goal: 10, 20, 30 or 50 words. • Cover the meaning, guess, then tap to check. A simple way to build vocabulary without sitting down to study. • Keep a streak going and watch today's progress bar fill up. QUICK QUIZZES • 10-question vocabulary quiz, four choices each. • Words you miss go straight to your Review box, so you only drill the ones you keep forgetting. WORD DECKS • Basics, Exam prep, TOEIC vocabulary and Everyday talk. • Add your own words, or paste a whole list at once (one "word - meaning" per line). RESPECTS YOUR PHONE • Only one permission: notifications. No location, no phone access, no drawing over other apps. • Works offline. Your words stay on your device. • Pronunciation with your phone's text-to-speech, at slow, normal or fast speed. • Light and dark themes. Glimword turns the dozens of times you check your phone each day into a word of the day habit: a quick glance, one new word, and a vocabulary builder that never gets in your way.

First release: lock screen word cards you can turn off, home widget, quizzes and a review box.
