Changora: Count Money & Change

Starting your first cashier job? Changora helps you practice counting money and making change before your shift, so you never freeze at the register again. "I would take 5 minutes to figure out 95 cents" — not anymore. Three short drills build real cash register skills: • Count it: see a pile of bills and coins and type the total. • Make it: tap bills and coins from the drawer to make an exact amount. • Give change: the price is $7.35, the customer pays $20. Hand back the right change. Every round is 10 questions and takes about two minutes. A daily mix keeps all three skills sharp. LEARN FROM EVERY MISTAKE When you get one wrong, Changora shows what you gave next to the right answer, how much you were short or over, and the fewest-pieces way to do it. Tap "count up" to see the cashier method step by step: start at the price and count up to what the customer paid. COINS THAT LOOK RIGHT Coins are drawn to scale, so you learn that a dime is smaller than a nickel. UK 20p and 50p coins have seven sides. Turn on coin names (penny, nickel, dime, quarter) while you learn. YOUR CURRENCY Practice with US dollars, Canadian dollars, euros, British pounds, Australian dollars, Japanese yen, Korean won, Indian rupees, Mexican pesos or Brazilian reais. FROM COINS ONLY TO PRO • Coins only: count small change. • Everyday: bills and coins. • Big bills: practice counting $50 and $100 bills. • Pro: large amounts and customers who pay with two bills. NO PRESSURE The timer is off by default, so you can take your time. Turn off the running total to practice adding in your head. Sound and vibration can be switched off. SEE YOUR PROGRESS Your streak, accuracy and average time for each type of question, plus a calendar of the days you practiced. A home screen widget shows today's practice, one tap away. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account and no sign-up. Your progress stays on your phone. Great for new cashiers, retail and restaurant workers, students getting their first job, and anyone who wants more money counting confidence. Changora is free and supported by ads.
