Say the answer out loud! Math facts & times tables, kindergarten to 5th grade
Your child hears a math question and says the answer out loud. No tapping, no typing, no staring at a screen. Just quick-fire mental math, with Nyb, a cheeky red times sign, cheering them on.
HOW IT WORKS
• A friendly voice asks a question: "What's 7 times 8?"
• Your child answers out loud: "Fifty-six!"
• Each right answer brings the next question. One wrong answer or a slow one ends the round.
• Every round lasts 30 seconds. Can they beat their best score?
WHAT THEY PRACTICE
Pick addition, subtraction, multiplication or division, and a starting level from 1 to 10. As your child gets answers right, the questions get harder by themselves, so it stays challenging without becoming frustrating.
• Kindergarten: adding and subtracting within 10
• 1st and 2nd grade: addition and subtraction facts within 20, then within 100
• 3rd grade: multiplication and division facts, times tables up to 12 × 12
• 4th and 5th grade: bigger numbers, up to 500 + 500 and 20 × 20
Saying the answer out loud builds real math fact fluency. With no multiple-choice guessing, it's the quick recall that makes everything else in math easier.
