PureNote: Offline Notes

A quiet place for your ideas. PureNote is an offline note-taking app with a dark, retro-inspired interface and one simple writing field. WRITE AND FIND YOUR NOTES Capture thoughts, drafts and everyday reminders. The first line becomes the note title. Your text saves automatically, and the app reopens your last note. Search note content and browse notes sorted by their last edit. FOLLOW YOUR WRITING Word and character counts update as you type. The token counter is an approximate estimate, not a model-specific AI token count. KEEP A COPY Move notes to the trash and restore them when needed. Export a JSON backup to a location you choose. Importing adds copies and keeps your existing notes; importing the same backup again creates duplicates. Share note text with other apps through Android’s share menu. ON YOUR DEVICE PureNote works without an internet connection or an account. There are no ads and no broad storage permissions. Notes are stored in the app’s local database; no cloud sync service is included. Android automatic backup is disabled, so export a manual backup before uninstalling the app or switching phones.
