PitchHold: Slow & Loop Music

Learn a fast solo or riff by slowing the music without lowering its pitch. PitchHold is a practice player that slows music for learning by ear. It plays tracks from 200% down to 4% speed with pitch locked and no warble or drift. Choose Tape Mode when you want pitch to follow the speed instead. Set a loop in two taps, drag its edges or nudge them by milliseconds, then save it for later. Add named markers to jump between sections. Speed Trainer raises the tempo on each pass as you practice. Bring buried parts forward with Bass Focus, Reduce Vocals or left and right channel isolation. Adjust the sound with the player’s 8-band EQ. Shift pitch by up to 12 semitones in either direction, or fine-tune in cents to match a recording to your instrument. The note helper names the note under the playhead and the bass note, and lights up the notes that are sounding. When it cannot name a chord honestly, it leaves the name out. Use Live Input with headphones or an audio interface to play along. Record your playing, slow it down and export clips. Organize tracks in setlists. Open .mp3, .m4a, .aac, .wav and .flac files, or audio from .mp4 video. Import from your phone’s files, cloud storage, gallery or another app. The free version uses the full engine at full quality, with three projects, the first 90 seconds of each track and one saved loop. Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks whole tracks, unlimited projects, loops and markers, Speed Trainer, Live Input, recording, export and setlists. Your audio never leaves your device. There is no account, nothing is uploaded and there are no ads.

Clearer wording throughout the app and bug fixes.
