Description
Flashcards with a five-box review schedule, typed answers and text import.
Flashdeck is a flashcard app built around the Leitner box method. Every card sits in one of five boxes. Cards you know move up and come back less often; cards you miss go back to the first box and return the same day. The result is that study time goes to the cards that still need it.
How it works
Make a deck, add cards with a front and a back, and tap Study. Flashdeck picks the cards that are due today, most overdue first, up to the session size you choose (10 to 100 cards). Look at the front, think of the answer, reveal the back and tap Knew it or Missed. Box 1 cards come back the same day, box 2 after 1 day, box 3 after 3 days, box 4 after 7 days and box 5 after 14 days.
Each deck shows its five boxes as stacked card piles, so you can see at a glance how much of a deck has moved to the right.
Features
- Your own decks: create, rename and delete decks, up to 500 cards per deck
- Add, edit, search and delete cards
- Leitner schedule with five boxes and intervals of 0, 1, 3, 7 and 14 days
- Session size from 10 to 100 due cards
- Reverse mode to answer with the front side

- Stats per deck: cards in each box, cards due today, study streak and reviews on each of the last 14 days
- Starter decks: multiplication 2 to 12, squares 1 to 30, powers of two up to 2^20, Roman numerals 1 to 100, fractions to decimals, binary and hex 0 to 64, and SI prefixes from quecto to quetta
- Starter decks can be studied as they are or copied into an editable deck
- Plain-English guide inside the app
Your cards stay with you
Flashdeck has no sign-in, no ads and no internet permission. Decks, progress and settings are kept in the app's own storage on your phone, and nothing leaves it unless you choose to share a deck as text yourself.
