An unscrewing puzzle laid out on a blueprint drafting table. Clear steel plates overlap in layers, each one held down by coloured bolts, and the aim is to take the whole stack apart without jamming the spare tray. Step 1 — Tap a bolt to turn it out. It flies to the holder of its colour, which takes three before sliding away for the next, or to the spare tray if no matching holder is waiting. Step 2 — Read the layers. A bolt covered by a plate above cannot be reached. A plate left on a single bolt swings round it like a pendulum, and one with none drops off the table. Step 3 — Plan the tray. It starts with four spaces, and once it is full with no move left the job ends as a jam. Undo, hint and reset buttons sit under the board. Step 4 — Work through the campaign of 24 jobs in three bays, Bracket, Frame and Gantry, with 3 to 11 plates and up to six colours. Every move counts against par: finish at par for three stars, within two moves of it for two. Step 5 — Keep the line running in Endless shift, a chain of solvable boards that grow harder until the tray jams; the record is the number of bolts removed. Points from jobs and shifts fit tool kits: a tray extender with two marks, extra hint drills and undo wrenches. Sign-off Eight bolt head patterns, such as hex head, slotted, square drive and dome rivet, open through play. There are 12 inspection badges and a quiz of ten questions drawn from 26 facts on fasteners and engineering history. Gears turn slowly over a drifting blueprint grid as an animated background; it can be switched off in Settings, along with haptics. The game plays fully offline with no account, in portrait or landscape.
