Description

Play your part while the orchestra plays the rest. Record and listen back.

Accompy brings an orchestra to your practice room. Open a piece, choose your instrument and play along while the score scrolls and the orchestra plays every other part. PLAY WITH AN ORCHESTRA - Thirty instruments: violin, viola, cello, double bass, guitar, ukulele, harp, piano, marimba, vibraphone, xylophone, glockenspiel, flute, recorder, oboe, clarinet, four saxophones, bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba and four voice ranges. - Clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, horn, guitar and double bass players read their own part in their own key. - The score flows with the music, shows where the orchestra is and brings the next line into view before you reach it. - Pianists and harpists read both hands, with the piece's bass line in the left hand. - Listen first to hear the whole piece with the solo, then play it yourself. PRACTICE THE HARD PART - Loop a section, slow it down to half speed and bring it back up. - A metronome through the piece, a count-in of one, two or four bars, and a key change of up to five semitones for singers. - Turn each part of the orchestra up or down, or hear your own part softly as a guide. - Each piece remembers where you left off, your tempo and your note, so tomorrow starts with one tap. RECORD AND LISTEN BACK - Record while you play, then hear yourself with the orchestra. - Balance the orchestra against your sound and nudge the timing for Bluetooth headphones. - Share your take mixed with the orchestra, or your part alone. YOUR OWN SCORES Import a MusicXML file from MuseScore or another notation app. Pick your part and Accompy plays the others. Free, with no ads. New pieces arrive without an app update. Your Google account keeps your recordings and practice, so you can pick up on any phone or tablet. More than eighty pieces, many of them complete movements and songs: three movements of Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Bach's Double Violin Concerto and Violin Concerto in E, Beethoven's two Romances, Mozart's Rondo alla Turca, Handel's Hallelujah and arias from Messiah, Schubert's Erlkönig and Ave Maria, Pachelbel's Canon in D, Bach's Air on the G String, Satie's Gymnopedies, Holst's Jupiter, Swan Lake and Morning Mood, with more classics added all the time.

Nouveautés

Practice, Library, Recordings and Settings are now one tap apart in a tab bar at the bottom, or at the side when the screen is turned. The status bar icons stay dark on the paper, so they are easy to read when your phone is in dark mode.
