Description

Watch your plate in the Belarus border e-queue and wake up when you're called

BYBO watches your plate in the Belarus border e-queue and rings a full-screen alarm when you are called to the checkpoint. Until then you can wait in a hotel or a café nearby. Type the registration number once. No account is needed: the plate is enough. On the main screen • Your place in a large ring you can read at arm's length. • When you are likely to be called, and how far the app's own forecasts have missed so far. • Which crossing and which list the plate turned up in, and how fresh the reading is. • On a Wear OS watch: the place, the forecast and a countdown to the call. An alarm for the call When you are called, the whole screen lights up with sound and vibration. People often wait overnight, and a missed call loses you your place. You can also pick an earlier place to be woken at, for example the tenth or the fiftieth. The app checks in the background, and the hourly report, urgent alerts and holiday advice each have their own switch. Which checkpoint is faster BYBO compares the open car checkpoints by one figure: driving time plus waiting time if you set off now, from your city or from where you are. For the way back into Belarus, a second screen shows the wait to leave Poland and the number of cars in the Lithuanian waiting area. Plan the trip backwards Enter where and when you set off and which crossing you are heading for. The app works out the hour to book the electronic queue and sets an alarm for that hour on the phone and on the watch. While the plan is active, you get a note if the booking hour moves. When to cross • Queue length by hour and by weekday over the last three weeks, from the State Border Committee archive. • A month calendar with the average for each day, recorded or forecast. • A warning a couple of days before a public holiday in Belarus, Poland or Lithuania, shown only when last year's archive confirms a peak. It also names the calmest day. How booking works The steps on booking.declarant.by, the current fees, the mistakes that cost you the payment, and links to the official sites named below. Crossings to Poland, Lithuania and Latvia Brest, Kozlovichi, Berestovitsa and Bruzgi towards Poland, opposite Terespol, Kukuryki, Bobrowniki and Kuźnica. Kamenny Log, Benyakoni and Kotlovka towards Lithuania, opposite Medininkai, Šalčininkai and Lavoriškės. Grigorovshchina and Urbani towards Latvia. The plate is searched in every list at once: cars, lorries, buses and motorcycles, live and priority. Good to know The forecast ends at the call to the Belarusian checkpoint. Passport and customs control are not counted, and neither is the EU side. When the queue is not moving, the app says so instead of inventing a figure. BYBO is an independent app. It is not a government app and is not affiliated with the State Border Committee of Belarus or with belarusborder.by. It shows what they publish openly, and you join the e-queue on their own websites. Interface in English, Russian, Polish and Lithuanian. Independent development: one person builds and maintains this app. A letter to [email protected] is read by that person, not by a support desk.
