Afghan Tabla Live is an audio loop player application for Android. It is designed to play Tabla rhythm loops and provide tempo and pitch adjustment during playback. Features: Plays audio loops from built-in asset folders and from user-selected device folders. Built-in rhythm categories: Afshari, Classic, Dadra, Keherwa, Mogholi, Qataghani. 15 playback pads. Each pad can hold one audio file. BPM adjustment from the base tempo of 120 BPM. Pitch adjustment from the base value of 1.0. Loop toggle per pad. Queue system: up to 3 pads can be queued to play after the current loop. Danger zone protection: queuing is deferred if the current loop is past 65% of its duration. Tanpora (drone) player with independent volume control. Can be armed to start with the main loop. Main volume control and Tanpora volume control. Favorites: mark rhythm sets as favorites for quick access. My Performances: save the current pad setup, BPM, pitch, volumes, and Tanpora state as a named performance. Load or delete saved performances. Import from device storage using the Android system folder picker. Search function in set lists and performance lists. Audio file handling: Supported formats: MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, AAC, FLAC. Files containing "fill" are assigned to pads 1–3. Files containing "start" or "end" are assigned to pads 14–15. Files containing "شکل" are assigned to pad 13. Files containing "tanpora" or "tampora" are assigned to the Tanpora player. Remaining files are assigned to the remaining pads. Data storage: Favorites and saved performances are stored locally using SharedPreferences. No data is sent to external servers. No account or login is required. Permissions: Storage access is requested only when the user chooses to import audio files from device storage. Access is performed through the Android Storage Access Framework. Intended use: Practice and performance for Tabla players, singers, instrumentalists, and dancers who need adjustable rhythmic accompaniment.
