Cooklore: Recipes With a Story

Cooklore keeps every recipe as an index card: cream paper, blue lines, a red header line and your notes in handwriting. A real photo sits on the card like an instant photo. Then Cooklore cooks along with you, step by step. A COOK MODE YOU CAN TALK TO Tap the mic once and talk while your hands are busy. Say "next", "step 3", "timer 5 minutes" or "read it". Ask "how much flour" or "time left" and Cooklore answers out loud. It keeps listening until you tap the mic again or say "stop listening". Voice is free for 3 cooks; Cooklore Pro keeps it on. One tap sends the week to your grocery list: the same ingredients are combined, longer lists are grouped by aisle, and items your pantry already has are left off. Save a good week as a template, or print it. WHAT'S FOR DINNER TONIGHT See tonight's planned dinner, recipes you can cook from what you have, or let Cooklore pick one of your saved recipes. ADD RECIPES YOUR WAY Paste a link to a recipe page. Or snap a photo of a cookbook page or a handwritten card: the text is read on your phone and the photo stays attached. Saved a cooking video? Pick it, and Cooklore listens to it on your phone and writes the steps down. Its listening model downloads once, the first time you use it. Nothing is saved until you check it and tap Save to cookbook. You can also type a recipe, open a backup file or a recipe export from another app, or start with five starter recipes. YOUR KITCHEN, YOUR DATA There is no account, and your recipes are stored on your phone. Backup, restore and export are always free: one backup file holds every recipe and photo, and you can export your recipes as a spreadsheet.
