Description

Run Android shell commands over wireless or USB and keep useful session history

Put an Android ADB terminal in your pocket. Connect your own devices, run shell commands, inspect system details and keep the results you need for troubleshooting. ADB Shell brings authorized wireless debugging, USB OTG and a persistent terminal session into one clear workspace. Pair this phone by entering Android's six-digit pairing code in a notification. The app discovers this phone's advertised pairing port and finds the separate connection port when Android makes it available. Return to open the terminal from your saved phone, with connection options available when you need them. Manual pairing is there when notifications or discovery are unavailable. Connect another Android device over a network or a USB data cable, then save targets with names, groups and favorites. Discover advertised ADB services or enter an address and port yourself. Each connection requires debugging to be enabled and the target's authorization. Work in an interactive shell that keeps its current directory during the session. Review multiline commands before Run, paste from a guide, select and copy text, search available output and use helpful terminal keys. Adjustable monospace text and an optional dark terminal surface make longer output easier to read. Find a useful starting point in explained commands for system properties, uptime, storage, shell identity, installed packages and Android diagnostic reports. Edit an example before preparing it in the terminal, or save your own commands with descriptions, groups and favorites for the next time you need them. Capture logcat while investigating a problem, filter the display by text, tag or severity, and pause the view while capture continues. Stop when you have what you need and export the retained logs. Session history keeps the target, transport, input and available output together, with search, favorites and deletion to help you return to useful details. Export selected sessions as TXT or JSON to a document destination you choose, with optional masking of known target values and common addresses. Review exports for sensitive content. Back up personal commands and preferences, optionally include session history, then preview imported data before merging or replacing it. Authorization keys and pairing codes stay out of backups. Retention and storage limits are adjustable; long output can be partial and is labelled accordingly. The app requires Android 8 or later. Modern Wireless debugging pairing needs Android 11 or later on a target that supports it. Notification pairing is for this phone and needs notifications enabled. USB requires host or OTG support, a data cable, USB debugging and target approval. Classic ADB TCP must already be enabled and is unencrypted. Available commands and reports depend on Android permissions and manufacturer restrictions; the app does not grant root or bypass authorization. Terminal sessions close when the app leaves the foreground. The separate notification pairing helper runs for up to two minutes. Reconnecting starts a fresh shell without replaying commands. An interrupt or closed connection does not guarantee every target process has stopped.
