Norskprøven: Norwegian A2 B1

Prepare for Norskprøven, the Norwegian language test for adults, with practice in all four skills. This app is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with or approved by the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir), UDI or any Norwegian government body. For permanent residence you generally need oral (muntlig) Norwegian at A2, and for citizenship oral B1. Every answer is explained in Norwegian and in English, so you can see what went wrong in the language you think in. WHAT'S INSIDE • Listening: 36 questions on 13 Norwegian audio clips (nb-NO, computer-generated). Slow a clip to 0.75× or 0.5×, and read the transcript after you answer. • Reading: 60 questions on 10 short everyday texts, with gap-fill and comprehension. Each answer is explained. • Topic practice: 296 questions on eight everyday topics, from housing and health to work, shopping and public offices. • Writing: 12 tasks, messages and letters. Each one has two graded model answers and a checklist for marking your own reply. • Speaking: 12 tasks. Record yourself on your phone, compare with a written model answer and score yourself. Your recordings stay on your device and are never uploaded. • 160 vocabulary flashcards by topic. • Exam guide: the four subtests, how each one is reported as a CEFR level, how to sign up, and tips for the oral test. TIMED MOCK EXAMS Each mock draws 13 reading and listening questions at random and gives you 30 minutes. HK-dir does not publish a fixed number of correct answers for each level, so treat your mock score as a practice guide, not a prediction of your result.
