Padster: Notes & Passwords

Padster is a fast, offline-first notes app with a built-in password vault and secure secret sharing — built for developers and technical teams. Everything is encrypted on your device before it syncs. Your recovery passphrase never leaves your phone, so nobody can read your data — not even us. Padster is completely free. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases and no ads. We cannot reset it or recover it for you. If you lose it, your encrypted data cannot be recovered — that is exactly what keeps it private. Your notes stay yours. Padster is offline-first by design and encrypted end to end.

Creating a share now shows the same progress bar as unlocking, instead of two loaders drawn over each other. From a workspace, a share can now require the recipient to sign in, and its PIN can be re-rolled — both were missing there. Fixed: deleting a temporary share removes every copy, including your own. Clearing documents is much faster. Holding a note inside a folder or tag opens its menu.
