Portrait Touch-Up

Portrait Touch-Up is a small, honest photo editor for portraits. It evens out skin texture and corrects brightness, warmth and contrast. It does not change the shape of anyone's face or body, and it makes no claim about how a person should look. 🚫 What it does not do • No eye enlargement, no jaw slimming, no nose narrowing, no body reshaping • No filters that swap a face for a different one • Every adjustment only changes color and brightness — nothing is moved, stretched or warped 🪞 Skin texture softening An edge-preserving filter evens out uneven patches while leaving edges alone, so eyelashes, the line of the lips, eyebrows and single strands of hair stay sharp. Even at the strongest setting some texture is kept on purpose: skin without any texture at all stops looking like skin. ☀️ Light and color • Brightness: lift or lower the exposure of the whole photo • Warmth: move the white balance warmer or cooler, for photos shot under the wrong light • Contrast: a gentle curve around the mid-tones, never a hard S 🎚️ Presets and sliders Open with Natural, the default. Soft goes a little further. None leaves the photo exactly as it came. Every adjustment also has its own slider and its own reset, so you can dial in one thing without touching the rest. 👁️ Press and hold to compare Hold a finger on the photo to see the original, let go to see the edit. The comparison is the same photo at the same size in the same place — nothing is nudged between the two views. 🩹 Spot fix Tap a small blemish and a soft patch is sampled from the clean skin right next to it and feathered over the spot. Each tap can be undone, one at a time. 🧠 Face detection, on your device Google ML Kit finds where the face is so the skin softening lands on skin rather than on the background. It runs entirely on your phone. Face positions are used only while the photo is open and are discarded as soon as it has been processed — nothing about a face is stored, and nothing is sent anywhere. If no face is found, or if face detection is not available on your device, the app says so plainly and applies the adjustments to the whole photo instead. 📷 Take one or bring one Use the front or back camera, or pick a photo you already have with the system photo picker. Picking a photo needs no permission at all; the camera is the only permission this app asks for. 💾 Full size out, original kept The export applies exactly what you set in the preview to the full-size photo and saves it as a new file in your gallery, or hands it to the share sheet. Your original photo is never modified or deleted. You can choose whether the original photo information (date, camera, and location if the original had it) is copied into the new file. 🔒 Private and offline Photos are processed on your device. There is no server, no account, and no analytics of your pictures. The app works in flight mode. ✨ Free, with one optional upgrade Every feature above is free, supported by a small banner and an occasional full-screen ad. A one-time purchase removes ads forever; it is not a subscription. 🎨 Decorating studio From the save sheet, decorate your retouched photo with filters, effects, crop and stickers before you save or share it — the gentle retouch underneath stays the same. Available in more than 30 languages, and you can change the language inside the app.
