Plotzy: Land Unit Converter

Plotzy converts land area the way land is actually measured where you are. Choose your country: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia or India (by state). Plotzy shows the units used there: acres, square feet and sections in the US; acres, hectares and Québec arpents in Canada; acres, hectares, roods and perches in the UK, Ireland and Australia; bigha, biswa, gaj, katha, guntha, cent and kanal across India's states. It works without an internet connection. CONVERT • Enter a value and its unit, choose the unit you want, and see the result. • Below it, see the same area in every other unit used in your country or state. • Conversions use exact fractions, so figures don't drift when you convert back and forth. Rounded figures are marked ≈; hold a result to copy its full value. HONEST ABOUT REGIONAL UNITS • Some customary units, like India's bigha, vary in size from place to place. Any figure that depends on one is marked REGIONAL, and the size used is shown beside it. • The Guide lists every unit's definition and its sources: laws, government manuals, court judgments, reference works and property sites. • Turn off units you don't use; they disappear from your results.
