Description
RV leveler for campers and trailers: see two-axis tilt and estimate the raise
An RV leveler for motorhomes, campers and travel trailers. RV leveler readings help you see how your parked camper leans before adjusting your leveling blocks. RV Leveler & Camper Level uses your phone’s motion sensor to show side-to-side and front-to-back tilt in degrees, with a bubble display and estimates of which side or end needs raising.
CHECK BOTH AXES
Lay the phone flat on a firm floor or counter, screen up and top edge pointing toward the front of the vehicle. Read the two angles together rather than turning the phone for each direction. The low-side and low-end guidance helps you interpret the tilt of a parked motorhome, travel trailer or camper van.
ESTIMATE THE RAISE
Enter your vehicle’s track width and wheelbase. Choose meters or feet for those dimensions, then inches or centimeters for the estimated raise. The calculation combines tilt with the span you entered; it does not measure your vehicle’s dimensions. Replace the defaults with your own measurements before using the height guidance.
SET A REFERENCE
Calibrate on a surface you already know is level to save a zero offset. Reset clears that reference. Keep the phone in the same orientation when checking again, and read the level after each adjustment. Calibration changes the reference, not the quality of the phone sensor.
KEEP A CAMPSITE ROUTINE
Use the ten-item arrival checklist to mark tasks such as chocking, leveling, stabilizing and connecting utilities. See completion progress, reset the checklist for another stay, and keep site notes for details you want to remember. The checklist and notes are saved for later use.
BLOCK REFERENCE AND GUIDE
A block-layer reference uses the last measured tilt and your dimensions. It assumes roughly 1 inch / 2.5 cm per layer, so compare it with the blocks you actually use and recheck the live level after moving. This reference does not guarantee the required layer count or block load capacity. The built-in guide explains placement, calibration and the role of vehicle dimensions.
QUESTIONS AND LIMITS
Are the heights exact? No. Tilt is approximate and phone-sensor based; height estimates also depend on the dimensions entered and the surface under the phone. A real phone with a working motion sensor is needed for live readings.
Does it level the vehicle for me? Adjustments are manual. This is a setup aid, not a safety inspection or a controller for jacks. Follow the vehicle and equipment manuals, use wheel chocks and proper stabilizers, and never rely on a phone reading alone before going under a vehicle.
