Grandma left you her little conveyor-belt sushi shop. The moment the door opens, a gang of thief cats comes for the food. Set sushi ingredients on five rails and keep the cats from reaching the dining-room door — a lane defense game with cats and sushi. ■ Catch rice, place food, hold the line Collect the rice balls that drop from above, pick a card and set it on a rail. Tamago shoots egg chunks, Nori Wall blocks the way, Soy Bottle explodes, Wasabi Root pops under the first thief who steps on it. If a lane gets through, the towel roller sweeps it clean one last time. ■ 26 ingredients, 14 thieves As you clear levels, Grandma's recipe notebook opens page by page and hands you new ingredients: Salmon, Octopus, Flying Fish Roe, Shrimp, Squid, Sea Urchin, Tofu Pouch, Freezer Door, Pressure Cooker and more. Once an ingredient learns its prep, it becomes sushi and gets stronger. Pot Cat, Bucket Cat, Pole Rat, Menu Cat, Delivery Rider Cat, Idol Cat and her fan club, Snorkel Cat, Bingsu Cart Cat, the Sled Cat Four, Mackerel Rider — every thief needs a different answer. ■ Three worlds, 30 levels Start in the daytime shop, move on to the late-night shift where no rice falls from above, then the dishwashing kitchen with water lanes where you float a plate before placing anything. In between: a nori bowling level, a level where you tap popping-up thieves with a ladle, and belt levels where you fight only with the cards riding in on the rail. ■ Loadout and almanac As your ingredients grow, pick which cards to bring into each level. The almanac shows every ingredient and thief with a live demo of what it does. ■ The shop next door Spend the tips you earn on an extra card slot, a dish brush for water lanes, mousetraps and ingredient upgrades. ■ Speed it up Play at 2× or 3× speed when you are in a hurry. ■ Pick up where you left off Progress is saved on your device and synced through Google Play Games, so you can switch devices.
