Learn German words with word search, der die das practice and spaced review.
Find a German word. Recall its article. Come back and practise it again.
German Word Master turns German vocabulary practice into short word search games, with English clues, der/die/das questions and a review queue for the skills you practise.
WORD SEARCH WITH A LEARNING STEP
Read the English clue and find the German word in a letter grid. Drag along a straight line, or tap the first and last letters. After finding a noun, try its article before opening the learning card. See the meaning, plural where applicable, and German example with an English translation.
PRACTISE DER, DIE AND DAS
Use Article Sprint to practise German noun gender in short sessions. Choose der, die or das with labelled buttons, or enable the optional swipe controls. An article mistake can return in review even when you found the word correctly.
RETURN TO WHAT NEEDS PRACTICE
Daily Review uses spaced review intervals and keeps article, verb-form and sentence-order practice separate. Your Wordbook lets you search German words or English meanings and filter nouns by article.
GO BEYOND THE PUZZLE
Practise present-tense German verb forms and arrange sentence chips in Verb Lab. Explore compound-word explanations where available, or follow Daily Focus through a short mix of learning activities. Campaign levels, daily puzzles and quick arcade puzzles give you different ways to return.
LEARN AT YOUR PACE
The campaign includes vocabulary labelled A1, A2 and B1. Start with short puzzles and progress through the levels. Follow your local learning progress, XP and streak, and choose a light or dark theme. These vocabulary labels do not represent a complete CEFR course or a proficiency certificate.
OFFLINE CORE, NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED
Bundled puzzles, vocabulary and local progress work offline. German pronunciation uses your device's text-to-speech engine; availability and offline playback depend on the German voice installed on your device. The interface and learning explanations are in English, with German practice content.
Use German Word Master alongside your lessons, reading and conversation practice to build a regular German vocabulary habit.
