Neonatal ventilation simulator for interactive respiratory education.
**NEOVENT – Neonatal Ventilation Simulator**
NEOVENT is an interactive educational simulator designed to teach the relationship between respiratory support and the neonatal lung using simulated babies.
**What You Can Learn**
• **Home:** Explore a teaching selector for a simulated baby. For a simulated preterm baby with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS), nCPAP is the usual teaching selection.
• **Vent:** Explore live waveforms and respiratory settings using simulated lung models, including HFO and NIV teaching views.
• **Live ABG Model:** Explore a simulated arterial blood gas (ABG) model for educational learning.
• **Ventilation Modes and Breath Logic:** Learn about respiratory support modes and simulated breath behaviour.
• **Workshop Cases:** Explore interactive educational scenarios.
• **Formulas:** Review formulas related to respiratory education.
• **Self-Test:** Check your understanding through a learning-focused assessment.
**Designed for Education**
NEOVENT focuses exclusively on how respiratory support interacts with the lung. Other organ systems are outside the scope of this simulator.
