Could a game of pool be a dungeon crawl? In Cue Quest it is. Below the tavern lies a dungeon of pool tables, three floors deep: The Cellar, The Catacombs and The Dragon's Den. Each floor holds five rooms, and the fifth is a boss table. Stamina is your life. Every stroke costs one point, every ball you pot gives one back, and sinking the purple cursed ball or scratching costs two. Gold balls are treasure worth ten gold apiece. Clear a room and you choose one of three relics, such as Wide Pockets, Vampiric Cue or the Seer's Lens, which shows a line on every stroke, slowly building a run that might just reach the dragon. Fall short and half your purse still comes home, ready for the armoury, where cues like Elven Willow and Dragonbone draw a longer aiming line. Every finished run is written into the Chronicle, while twelve deeds mark the milestones along the way. Light a torch and take your first step down the stairs. The whole dungeon runs fully offline, with no account, no ads and no purchases, on phones and tablets alike.
