Spelvik Ladder

Spelvik Ladder is an administration utility for racket sports hierarchies, accommodating tennis, squash, badminton, and padel structures. The application digitizes physical ranking sheets into an automated hierarchical list. Administrators define maximum positional challenge parameters, dictating how far up the hierarchy participants may challenge. When a lower-ranked participant defeats a higher-ranked opponent, the system automatically elevates the challenger to the claimed position while cascading intermediate participants downward. Unsuccessful challenges leave the current order unchanged. A dedicated module manages pending invitations, logging dates and tracking status until completion. Post-match, users input set-by-set score metrics, which flow directly into an archival history log. The participant database maintains individual profiles containing names, initials, color identifiers, and automatically updated performance statistics, allowing administrators to easily append active members or retire departed ones. For group sessions, an algorithmic scheduling tool handles doubles formats. By inputting the active headcount and available courts, the software generates equitable rotations, ensuring diverse partnerships and opposing pairings throughout the event while distributing rest periods evenly during uneven attendance. All data relies strictly on local device memory without requiring remote accounts or synchronization. The interface of the Spelvik Ladder supports standard light and dark display protocols natively.
